After a life-defining experience as a Servant Leader Intern for the Children’s Defense Fund, Karla went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to complete her Master’s in Occupational Therapy.
Home is now McAllen, Texas. Karla lives with her spouse, two kids whom she homeschools, and a fluffy pup. Karla enjoys traveling, working out, reading, ceramics, connecting with the community, journaling, and entertaining whatever new hobby sparks interest.
